In order to ensure that only the highest level of quality and service standards are maintained, fabricators and installers of Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer must be trained, qualified and certified by an authorised representative or agent. Certified fabricators/ installers are also required to meet, on an ongoing basis strict quality and service levels to retain certification status. You can therefore rest easy when your Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer project is completed by a certified fabricator/installer.
Substrates – The only recommended substrates for Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer are:
  1) HMR particleboard.
  2) Hardwood faced cabinet grade plywood for vertical surfaces.
  3) For horizontal applications, plywood may only be used if a solid wood edge is attached before the final edge treatment using Lokweld 8215 adhesive.
Inlays – Contrasting Trezzini inlay pieces can be incorporated into Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer to create a myriad of design options limited only by your imagination.
Thermoforming – Parbury does warrant thermoformed Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer when approved procedures are followed.
The thermoforming and bonding procedures outlined by Norford Industries for use on their Polytherm 3000 series thermoforming machine are approved when used with proper Parbury adhesive.
Postforming – Parburyl does NOT recommend or warrant postforming of Trezzini Solid Surface Veneer. The reason is that uneven heating will cause strees buildup which will lead to cracking in the future.
Examples of the shapes and edge profiles that can be achieved using the Polytherm 3000 machine are listed below:

Benchtops with 16mm bullnose and integrated 10mm internal radius splashbacks.

In fact the Polytherm 3000 can thermoform two or three dimensional shapes down to a minimum internal radius of 10mm. The design opportunities are therefore virtually unlimited.
