Silestone, is the first and only quartz surface available incorporating Mircroban
active antibacterial protection. Its unique combination of quartz, glass, polymer
resin and colour pigments creates a versatile surface for hospitals, hotel receptions,
aged care and retail fitouts as well as kitchen and bathroom applications.
Microban antibacterial protection is built-in during the manufacturing process meaning
it cannot wear away or wash off, so your Silestone worktop is protected for the
life of the product. Microban will inhibit the growth of potentially harmful bacteria,
such as salmonella, e-coli and listeria that can cause food poisoning.
