The beauty of Hardform doors is only part of the pleasure they will give you. With proper care, the surface will keep its fresh good looks for many years. No need to paint or varnish.

1. Everyday Cleaning

In most cases, caring for your Panelart doors is as simple as wiping the surface with a damp cloth. If a stain develops, wipe it away with soap and water, or if you prefer, wipe it clean with Windex or Jif Micro Liquid.

2. Removal of Stubborn Stains

If you have stains that can't be removed using the instructions above then try methylated spirits. Remembering of course to follow the manufacturer's safety instructions. For problem spots you may need to scrub the stain lightly withy a soft brush (eg. nail brush). If the stain persists then use a very mild abrasive such as toothpaste or baking soda. Note that use of such abrasive cleaners is a last resort, as such materials can prematurely wear away the surface. Never use these light abrasives on Gloss doors.

3. Repairs

Never use strong alkaline or acidic cleaners such as CLR ( Calcium Lime Rust Remover), Harpic Toilet Duck, Draino, caustic based oven cleaners, sugar soap or bleach.

• Abrasive cleaners and tools such as sand paper, steel wool, or gritty cleaners (eg creme cleaners, Ajax Powder) will scratch the surface, damaging both it's beauty and and stain resistance.
• Any bleach type product eg Domestos (label will say it contains sodium hypochlorite) should never be used to clean doors as permanent staining/discolouration will occur.
• Never use wax based products such as Mr Sheen as they leave a thin wax film on the door surface.

Ten Year Limited Warranty

Parbury Building Products Pty Ltd., warrants that, under normal use and service, Hardform Melamine/Colorform products shall be free from defects in workmanship and manufacture for a period of ten (10) years from the date of sale to the customer purchaser. In the event that the products does not perform as warranted, the consumer purchaser's sole remedy shall be limited to repair or replacement, at manufacturer's discretion, of all or any part of the product which is defective with a comparable product that is attached to the building (such as kitchen or bathroom doors) and was purchased by the original consumer purchaser. It applies only to to product which has been fabricated/Installed by certified tradesman in its original installation location.

This warranty shall not apply to any defects or damages arising from any of the following.

• Accidents, abuse or misuse
• Exposure to extreme temperatures
• Improper installation or fabrication
• Improper maintenance
• Alteration or repair by anyone not authorised by Parbury

To the maximum extent permitted by law, including the Trade Practice Act 1974 (TPA) and / or similar state or territory laws:

1. No other warranties, express or implied, are made, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, discolouration over time; and
2. Under no circumstances shall Parbury Building Products Pty Ltd be liable for any loss or damage arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use this product, or for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

No fabricator, installer, dealer, agent or employee of Parbury Building Products Pty Ltd has the authority to modify the obligations or limitations of this warranty.
